Maybe it’s because I haven’t left New York City for more than just a few days in a single stretch in about two years, but French artist Sylvain Meyer’s agricultural installation LAND ART evokes images of me, trousers rolled, digging a foundation for one of those lovely permaculture homes. That may not be Meyer’s intention, but his sculptural patterns have created earth 2.0 — full of sculptural structures and patterns carved into the landscape. And a banging mossy spider. Kudos.
