This is probably one of the prettiest and most interesting fashion films of the last year. Famed Dutch Designers Viktor & Rolf highlight the relationship between art and fashion. The designers directed this last year in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the label’s very first source of inspiration.
Nightwatch is a digital short film presenting Victor & Rolf’s last couture show, entitled the “Wearable Art” collection. The piece features Valentijn de Hingh as an intruder to the Rijksmuseum who pines over “The Threatened Swan,” a masterpiece by Jan Asselijn (c. 1650).
