Triennale Design Museum, Milan Italy

If high design is a study akin to enlightenment, the Triennale Design Museum is the temple at which sages pray. Since its inauguration in 2007 in the Palace of Art of Parco Sempione, Milan, the Triennale has served as a sort of museum-laboratory for research and experimentation within design. A living, breathing example of the knowledge harnessed within its walls, this institution the only of its kind — dedicated solely to Italian design through architecture, music, media arts, and education.

Below are a collection of architectural photographs of the grounds as well as a few odds and ends, courtesy of the Triennale. Props to Fubiz.

A recent exhibit at the Triennale Design Museum, entitled "BLOW."
