Fashion Photography Intensive & Studio Lighting Workshop – September 19 & 20


DETAILS: This is a 2-DAY, INTENSIVE (16hrs), in studio Fashion Photography Workshop at Beautiful Savage Studio  with Beautiful Savage Magazine photographer Matt Licari. The course is intended for beginning and intermediate photographers looking to learn to pitch, produce, and publish original fashion photography. This workshop is limited to 12 students. There are 2 instructors, and you will work with agency models, make up artists, and stylists, and leave with images for your portfolio.

Chad Saville – Founder & Editor in Chief, Beautiful Savage Magazine

You will learn the fundamentals of fashion photography, including the business of fashion photography, how to create a compelling pitch for publication, to create a personal brand and market yourself, and how to assemble a team and run a production set.

Matt Licari will teach you the fundamentals of studio lighting, and you will have the opportunity to shoot agency models, work with top stylists and makeup artists, and you will leave with the skills to organize and produce a similar shoot. Chad Saville and Matt Licari will take you through the fashion photography process, step-by-step from concept to execution, with you right on set.

Matt will teach you to control your light to control a mood, including reflectors, placement of strobes, and how to best arrange your lighting for the strongest impact. This course will offer you a greater understanding of lighting and composition for fashion photography, and how to pitch your work to editors, so you can create your own fashion shoots and get them published.
