Megan Ann Wilson is a stylist that specializes in working with professional athletes and in sportswear. The resulting editorial entitled “Jump(man), Jumpman” plays off the recent hit song by Future and Drake and the energy in the song. She was inspired by the push from Jordan Brand when it comes to designing more fashion forward pieces and working with style influencers like Russell Westbrook. The color palette is in keeping with fall collections and colors – shades of blue, grey, olive green and black – as well as references army silhouettes and technology. She styled the Jordan pieces with upcoming brands by young New York artists and custom pieces made from vintage military and NASA garments and patches. She was sure to layer as it as a fall/winter story and to build dimension and movement so when the models (both former basketball players) jump and move, the images are more dynamic.
