Fashion-designing, Golden Globe-winning actress, Chloë Sevigny (Big Love, Dogville, Boys Don’t Cry) has returned to her modeling roots as the face of Miu Miu’s Fall 2012 campaign.

A notorious “it girl” on the fashion scene since the 90s, Sevigny, now 37, fronted the line’s 1996 Spring campaign at the age of 21. Her charming androgyny is noticeable in the early campaign with an underlying deviousness to her outward virtue.

Now fully matured with experiential self-secureness, Sevigny models a fall collection which has surpassed androgyny and developed a complete masculinity. With high collared shirts, pantsuits, and broad-shouldered jackets, a woman who is now wholly feminine, contemporary and grown can be felt in these images, oozing sex appeal beneath layers  of clothes and hard-structured tailoring.

And the shoes…

There is nothing more classically confident than a platform loafer, yet Miu Miu (along with the rest of the House of Prada) has found a way to add funk to a timeless piece by experimenting with heel shapes and patterns, resulting in delightfully unique shoes with an edginess that remains subdued enough to allow anyone to try. Go ahead, but we will warn you that just one could be too many as a hundred are never be enough, as the saying goes.
