Our favorite Australian brand, KAHLO (named for the infamous Mexican painter) has released its Spring/Summer 2013 collection entitled “A Crowded House.” Like the younger sister in an oversized family, KAHLO’s spring woman wears hand-me-down versions from their Fall 2012 “Awkward Presence” collection, reinvented to develop girlish charm and feminine tailoring, defining her sharp distinction from a tomboyish sibling.

Model Shanna Jackway (IMG) is shot by Darren Mcdonald for the KAHLO Spring/Summer 2013 Look Book, styled by the brand’s creative directors and lead designers, Rachelle Sinclair & Fay Ogunbadejo.

[Looks 1 – 9]

Our favorite looks include the high-collared Deity Sleeveless Dress in black (6) and a re-vamped romper Wanton Playsuit in tangerine (8).

[Looks 10 – 18]

The Alchemy Bomber Jacket (in olive) is a season must, styled with a nude Energy Crop & tangerine Regal Shorts (9) for day or with rolled sleeves over the short Archibald Leather Dress in black for night (22).

KAHLO is known for its leather work creating numerous cuts of black minis that are sexy yet demure like the black Arresting Leather Dress (19). Their cozy tees, like the black Arcadian Silk Tee can be dressed up or casually layered, done here over their crisp heather grey Wanton Playsuit (19).
