Almost three years after the brilliant collaboration on the 12 inch Moth/Wolf Cub EP (and a month after the release of Burial’s Kindred), Burial and Four Tet have released their second collaboration, a track called “Nova.” The track starts out slow with a distinct Eastern vibe and quickly turns into a dreamy house track. Hearing waves crashing toward the end, this may very well become my song for the summer (I’m also pretty sure I hear whale sounds, though that might just be me/wishful thinking). No official EP release date has been announced yet, but stay tuned to Four Tet’s Twitter, where “Nova” was originally dropped. For those of you lucky to get a ticket, Four Tet is playing a sold out show at Le Poisson Rouge in New York tonight.

Check out “Moth” and “Wolf Cub” below, and an awesome remix of “Moth” by Forest Swords.

Edit: The single will be released on March 19. You can pre-order it on Phonica.
