Liars have returned with an unsettling video for their killer track, “No. 1 Against the Rush,” which finds the band members in less than fortunate circumstances again. The video was directed by LA-based director and photographer Todd Cole and follows the methodical abduction of each of the three ill-fated members. Guitarist Aaron Hemphill describes the filming to their label Mute Records, “Despite being wrapped head to toe in plastic, being dragged through broken glass, and being strangled to the ground, we had the easiest job to do on the set and we eagerly look forward to any new forms of punishment that can be inflicted upon us in making the next video.”

You can pre-order the 12-inch single (out May 28) and the upcoming album WIXIW (out June 5) from Liars’ official website now. Liars will be playing Webster Hall in New York on June 20. They put on an awesome live show, so get your tickets now before they sell out.
